Went to the Baltimore Tattoo Convention Sunday afternoon with my nephew Andrew White. It was a beautiful day just to get out and do something different. The highlight of my day was to meet Lea Vendetta. She signed her "white" poster for me, it was the highlight of my day. You'll have to go to her sight to see what I mean. She's more stunning in person and very nice . . . Thanks Lea.
We started out at the show walking from isle to isle. I wasn't sure how long we would be there and thought maybe an hour or two at the most. After walking around and talking to the vendors and customers, we ended up staying about five hours. It was a pleasure talking to the people that are there. I encourage everyone to go to one of these conventions, I had a blast. I am looking forward to the next one. Just the artwork alone is incredible.
Anyone I photographed I asked first, that includes my friend Lea below. There was only one guy that turned me down, for whatever reason he had (kind of bummed me out) but most were ok with me snapping shots. Some tattoo artist actually thanked me for asking first.
